okay, had the game for a week now and am enjoying it.

My take...

Damn, why do they make the campaign so short on these games? Two evenings at home and it was done.

But, Do I just suck at this? Resistance and #2, I dominated, usually in the top 5 of 60 player maps.

But MW2, I am having people just suddenly kill me that were not there! I still haven't figured out all the extra things, perks and whatnots. I just kill people and go about my business. Also, I have nailed people with at least ten rounds before, they fire once, and I'm down and dead! I'm assuming also that there is a good amount of glitching going on.

Set stopping power as your 2nd perk. This makes it take less bullets to kill some one. This is probably the problem you are having. If you play hardcore, you dont have to use stopping power, but in core you pretty much have to.

Generally alot of people use stopping power as one their 2nd perk outside of hardcore modes or they use Marathon in combination with lightweight. But from the way it sounds you play stopping power with sleight of hand or bling would be your main setup most likely. Personally I always use Commando Pro. I just love that perk with the no falling damage.

I guess I need to look at what is what. But yeah, seems some people move like lightning. Enjoying it though, getting better each night, figuring out maps and such. I also need to figure out how some people get where they get. There was a guy last night up on the crane in the skyscraper map.

I need to set up an offline match with myslef and just go explore the maps.

The one thing that I really like better about the Resistance 2, is that they moved the talk button to one of the digital pad buttons, so you have to stop moving one axis to talk. These kids on here think they are the baddest badasses ever put on earth, and I can't beleive the string of cussing that comes out of some of them. I guess that makes them hard, they play video games and kick ass at it.

the big yellow crane? you have to walk along the side of that little building in front of it.. then jump up to the platform and run all the way down to jump up onto the higher platform. theres a ton of spots like that. you can just add one of these guys and do a private match with them.

Thought only 12 yr old boys got up there. I guess girls do too. lol I'm just kidding! I just thought it was funny you know how to get up there. I'm probably the only person who doesn't get up there. Don't even know how. I think it's stupid. I know when I see people up there, they don't last long and well, I like to stay alive as long as possible.

lol i got up there once and realized you can only get one or two kills up there cos then that person you just killed will hunt your ass down. but yeah i know where a lot of the spots are, i just dont use them. i never sit in one spot for more than about 45 seconds unless im playing demolition haha.

Yea it can be short, but i've been playing it on Harden and it's so hard to even survive. So inevitably I just stop playing it and save it for later as my school work is getting intense.. But eventually I want to finish the Harden, then do legendary and get all the achievements in easy...

Next week, I may seriously bring my PS3 to work. We have a couple fo team rooms here that have HD projectors in them with 10' screens. And yes, I have data lines run in also!

I am going to go back and play some on the harder settings, but right now, just having fun with the online play.

I do miss the large player groups of 60 players on Resistance, and will have to try out Mag soon for it's huge player groups.

Try playing groundwars. 8v8 I think then.. maybe 9v9.. which on the cod size maps, thats a lot of folks.

^ Yeah Ground war can get super hectic with the smaller size maps that they have for MW2. That is def. where you want to go for some chaos. I like the mixture of domination and team deathmatch as well.

Just showing off my sneaky ninja skills I guess.. It was so loud in the gym the stairwell seemed like the best place to take a phone call, and you just happened to start walking up the stairs.

But I am really enjoying my current rush setup... switched things up a bit from the old setup.

I was in a slump the last couple of days but broke it today with a nice TD game of 28-8. Been going really positive the whole night. Can't complain with those results.

Reviving this thread from the dead, but did anyone but the new map pack? I still own MW2 but I haven't played it in weeks since loaning it out to a couple of my friends who never bought the game. There is no way that I will be getting this map pack, but I know alot of you guys play this game alot more than I do.

I got it. But my Xbox died and is on its way to MS right now, so it will be awhile before I can play it.
